These appointments follow the recent promotion of outgoing MDA President Eileen Ooi to CEO of PHD APAC, a move that highlights Malaysia's growing impact in the regional digital scene.

MDA also announced Cindy Eliza Vaz, Chief Digital Officer of IPG Mediabrands, as its new Treasurer. Her background in data-driven marketing and media strategy is expected to strengthen the association's financial stewardship. "The digital landscape is at a critical juncture, with AI set to disrupt the ecosystem like previous technologies have reshaped the digital world. It's now more crucial than ever for MDA to act as a facilitator, driving collaboration and innovation," said the newly appointed president of MDA.

"I am looking forward to strengthening MDA's promise of nurturing talents, shaping digital and tech best practices, driving new cross-industry initiatives, and recognising the best work of our people."
