Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) recently foiled an attempt to smuggle duty-unpaid cigarettes into the country at Woodlands Checkpoint

In a Facebook post, ICA said it arrested a 28-year-old Malaysian man on 11 February after his Malaysia-registered car was flagged for further inspection.

Footage of the incident shows officers dismantling parts of the vehicle and uncovering cigarettes hidden in multiple compartments.

The contraband was concealed under the bonnet and inside the rear bumper.
