RM6.7 Million Luxury Bungalow Near Putra Heights Fire Up For Auction At Half Price
The house is reportedly not damaged by the incident.
A double-storey bungalow in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya has gone viral after being listed for auction at half its original market value
According to the KL Selangor Lelong Properties Facebook page, the luxury home was initially valued at RM6.7 million, but failed to sell after six auction rounds.
The post, published on the same day of the gas pipeline explosion that occurred on 1 April, said the house is now set to be auctioned at RM3.33 million on 30 April.
The freehold bungalow, sitting on a 15,604 sq ft plot of land, features a basement and a private swimming pool, with a built-up area of 11,801 sq ft.

It is located on Jalan Putra Harmoni 1/1a, just one road away from the site of the fire that severely damaged 237 other premises in the neighbourhood
Despite its close proximity to the incident, Sinar Harian reported that the house remains in good condition, with its roof and main structures still intact.

The auction listing gained attention online, with netizens joking about the property's value possibly dropping even further due to the explosion
"Price should be 30% less starting tomorrow," one user quipped.
"Still intact or not? It's just nearby the explosion," said another.
"If it's RM100,000, I'll take it. Need to build an underground bunker, at least need a few hundred thousand," another joked.
