Loke: LRT3 Line Expected To Begin Services On 31 December
The much-awaited line will connect Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya to Johan Setia in Klang.

The LRT3, also known as the LRT Shah Alam Line, is now slated to begin operations on 31 December, according to Transport Minister Anthony Loke
Informing the Dewan Rakyat of its progress yesterday, 17 November, Loke said the project has entered its final phase of testing and commissioning to ensure its safety and reliability.
"The latest target date for the operation of the LRT3, or the Shah Alam Line, has been revised to 31 December.
"However, this depends on the results of our testing.
"This is because the final testing phase currently underway is one of the most crucial aspects for the rail service," he said, as quoted by the New Straits Times.
Loke added that 956 staff members have been hired in preparation for the line's operations and maintenance by the end of the year.

Earlier this year, Loke had announced that LRT3 was expected to launch in September
Spanning 37.8km and comprising of 25 stations, the LRT3 will connect Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya to Johan Setia in Klang.
The RM16 billion project is expected to benefit more than two million residents.
