Malaysians travelling back to their hometowns for Hari Raya will enjoy a 50% discount on toll charges on Wednesday and Thursday, 18 and 19 March, announced Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil
The discount will be in effect from 12.01am on 18 March until 11.59pm on 19 March.
According to Business Today, Fahmi said the initiative aims to ease travel costs for Malaysians returning home for Aidilfitri while also helping to ensure smoother journeys during the festive period.
The announcement was made during the government spokesperson's press conference he chaired today, 17 March.
