A 26-year-old woman, identifying herself only as Anne, discovered a hidden spy camera tucked inside a graduation bouquet she received three months ago

According to Berita Harian, the device was found after her sister noticed her husband's smartphone automatically pairing via Bluetooth to a device with a suspicious name.

Out of curiosity, the family connected to the signal and was prompted to download a mobile application called IWF Camera.

Once the app was installed, the screen revealed a live broadcast of Anne's bedroom, capturing a clear view of her bed and the spinning ceiling fan.

Anne, who received the flowers during her convocation at a public university in November last year, had kept the bouquet positioned directly facing her bed

Upon closer inspection, she found a tiny camera with a red indicator light hidden within the arrangement.

What appeared to be floral foam inside the bouquet was actually a power bank to keep the camera running.

The device used a Wi-Fi connection to stream the live feed and was neatly concealed to avoid detection

Anne subsequently lodged a report at the Kuantan district police headquarters.

According to Anne, the investigating officer noted that this was the first case of its kind involving a camera concealed within a bouquet.

Police believe the device may have been installed by an external supplier providing stock to event vendors

Kuantan police chief Ashari Abu Samah confirmed the report, stating the case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for insulting the modesty of a person.

The bouquet and the camera are currently held by the police for further forensic analysis.

"The public is also advised not to make any speculations while further investigations are still being carried out," Ashari said.

Anne originally shared her experience on Threads but later deleted the post after receiving negative comments and baseless accusations against her family members.

She clarified that her sister had purchased the bouquet at the convocation site at her own request.
