Meanwhile, 149 Yamaha Tenere 700 units from 2023 to 2024 may face clutch operation issues, making gear shifting difficult.
A total of 1,369 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT and 1,649 MT09 motorcycle units, manufactured between November 2021 and February 2025, may have faulty throttle position sensors.
For Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the prefuse box may not have been properly reworked in the S580e, GLC 300 4MATIC, EQS 500, AMG SL 43, EQE 53, and EQS 53 models produced between 2023 and 2025.
JPJ said vehicle owners will be contacted by their respective manufacturers to schedule inspection appointments
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli assured affected vehicle owners that any faulty components will be replaced at no cost.
"For further information, owners can contact or visit their nearest sales or service centres," he said.
JPJ added that it will continue monitoring the recall process to ensure all affected vehicles are inspected and certified safe.
