“Stronger Than Before” ISIS Issues A Paris-Style Attack On Washington And Other Countries

On Monday, 16 November, an Islamic State sub-group released a new video praising the Paris attacks and warning that a similar attack could take place in Washington and promised attacks on any other country participating in the ongoing airstrikes against Syria

According to Reuters, the 11-minute-long video, purportedly made by Wilayat Kirkuk, a group based in Salahuddin province, north of Baghdad, was uploaded on a site used by Islamic State to post its messages and has not yet been officially authenticated

Another man identified by Reuters as "Al Ghareeb the Algerian", also warned Europe in the video that more attacks were coming

The release of the video comes as police in Malaysia have intensified their crackdown and caught three of the Islamic State members

According to IGP Khalid Abu Bakar, the three ISIS mi­­litants were detained in a four-day sting operation conducted by the Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division which ended on Friday, just before the terror attacks in Paris, The Star Online reported
