Hulu Selangor PPBM Youth Leader Arrested After Testing Positive For Meth

On 14 April, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM)'s youth leader for Hulu Selangor Hafizul Hassan was arrested at his home in Batang Kali

Hafizul is PPBM's youth leader for Hulu Selangor.

Kosmo reported that the PPBM youth leader was detained after members of the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) raided his home at around 2.15am.

The raid happened following a tip-off from members of the public.

Bernama reported AADK Officer Mohd Ghazali Abdul Rahman as saying that Hafizul was taken to their office for an initial urine test.

Hafizul tested positive for syabu, also known as methamphetamine.

"The suspect had no previous record," Ghazali added.

According to Ghazali, Hafizul has been apprehended from 14 to 27 April.

Kosmo reported that Hafizul is being investigated under Section 3(1) of the Drug Dependants (Treatment And Rehabilitation) Act 1983.
