Hotel Chef Dies After Being Run Over By Multiple Cars On North-South Expressway

The 41-year-old victim was on his way to work earlier today, 20 March.

A 41-year-old hotel chef died on the North-South Expressway earlier today, 20 March, after crashing his motorcycle on the divider

Sin Chew Daily reported that the victim was riding his motorcycle to work before the incident occurred at around 6.30am today. 

The crash happened at KM441.9 on the highway in Rawang.

Following the crash, the victim was thrown across the divider before being run over by multiple cars

Harian Metro reported that the 41-year-old's body and head were crushed after being dragged under multiple cars on the highway.

Gombak police chief Assistant Commissioner Samsor Maarof confirmed that the victim was riding a Yamaha Y15 motorcycle.

"Pieces of the victim's body were found on 50 metres of the highway," Samsor said, according to Harian Metro.

The chef's body has been delivered to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem

"We are trying to track witnesses to the incident," Samsor said.
