Here's a good news for you!
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority ([TESDA] (http://www.tesda.gov.ph)) is taking another spin as it offers new courses for those who cannot afford to go to universities, but are willing to learn.
[TESDA] (https://www.facebook.com/TESDAOfficial/timeline) has just announced today via DZMM Teleradyo that they are offering new courses, especially language courses, for those who wanted to work abroad. They are also offering Maritime, Information Technology, Electronics, Agriculture, Automotive, Health and Tourism courses for those who are planning to work in hotels, airlines and cruise ship!

Here are a few steps that you need to take to enroll in a course (Note: TESDA accredited centers may have different procedures depending on their assessment standards):
1. **Call your municipal hall or the TESDA office** (887-7777 or 09174794370) and ask for the schedule of TESDA trainings near you. If they don't have your ideal course, you can ask them the address of the training center that will hold the course that you've been eyeing.
2. **Visit the [TESDA Accredited Center] (http://www.tesda.gov.ph/About/Tesda/1291) address given to you**. You will be given a form to accomplish and the schedule of your entrance exam (only some centers ask for this).
3. If you are successful with Step #1, **prepare these before enrolling in any course**:
Barangay Clearance Certificate
Photos: 1×1 (3 pcs.) and 2×2 (1 pc.)
Highschool Diploma
Transcript of Records
P.S. If you do not have the time to attend a class, don't worry! You can take a TESDA online class [here] (http://e-tesda.gov.ph/login/index.php). Here's how to [enroll] (http://e-tesda.gov.ph/mod/resource/view.php?id=334) online.
That's it! But, come prepared on your first day of class. Read in advance about the course and put a smile on your face! This is a new chapter in your life.
Embrace it! Embrace change.
