According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, an emergency call was received at around 4.15pm regarding flooding at the food court
Bernama reported that a team from the Petaling Jaya Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene shortly after, where floodwaters were estimated to be about 1.2m deep.
Authorities also confirmed that several vehicles parked near the food court were affected by the flooding.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.

The incident marks the second time the Jalan 223 area has been hit by flash floods in recent weeks, with a similar incident reported on 20 April, according to The Star.
Elsewhere across the Klang Valley, heavy rain caused flooding and major traffic congestion in multiple locations, including Jalan Kuchai Lama, the Kuchai Link, parts of the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), and roads near the Awan Besar Toll Plaza

Several vehicles were reportedly stranded in rising waters near Jalan Klang Lama and Bukit Jalil, while floodwaters near the Kuchai Lama MRT station caused severe traffic jams in both directions.
By around 4.47pm, floodwaters at the affected routes had reportedly receded and roads were reopened to traffic.
