More and more Malaysians are heading to nature spots to "heal". You know, breathe in some fresh air, take in the view, maybe even makan-makan while watching the clouds roll by.

But one scenic pitstop in Genting Highlands is turning into a literal rubbish heap, and one guy decided to call it out.

In a video that's now making rounds online, TikTok user @srsuperrocket1 shows a layby-type spot along the Genting route where people often stop to enjoy the view.

It should be a peaceful place to unwind and take in the cool breeze, but instead, the scene looked more like a landfill.

"I know a lot of people these days like to 'heal' with nature, camp, and lepak at this area," he said. "But at least take your trash with you and stop leaving it behind."

The camera pans slowly, revealing plastic bags, food containers, bottles, and other rubbish scattered across the grass and along the roadside.

"It's so embarassing when people come and wanna lepak here and all they see is trash everywhere," he added, visibly frustrated.

Commenters echoed the sentiment that these areas should be respected, especially as they become increasingly popular among those seeking a quick escape from city life

If you're coming to find peace in nature, the least you can do is leave it as you found it. Otherwise, you're not healing anything. You're just making things worse.

Let's be real — no one's asking you to organise a beach clean-up or plant a tree. Just pack your rubbish and throw it at the next bin or petrol station, not at the feet of Mother Nature.

So the next time you're headed for a healing session in Genting or any nature spot, remember: your trash, your responsibility. Don't let your self-care moment become someone else's headache.
