Geylang Hotel Staff Attacked For Denying A Room To 2 Men Carrying An Unconscious Woman

Singaporean news site Zao Bao reported yesterday, 24 February, that the incident occurred at around 4.45am at a hotel on Lorong 4, Geylang.
The 26-year-old revealed that the woman was unconscious, while both men were relatively sober.

"I was worried that something would happen to the unconscious woman, so I lied to them that there were no available rooms," the employee revealed
According to China Press, one of the men began yelling at the hotel employee before attacking him with a bronze lion over the counter.
He was left with a swollen eye, and a 2cm-long scar near his eyebrow.
"The bronze lion was about 10cm tall, and none of my colleagues were at the scene," the 26-year-old said.
"I called my manager after they left, and he lodged a police report on my behalf," he added.
