The enforcement focused on traffic and technical offences

A total of 39 motorists were found driving without a competent licence, 31 vehicles had expired road tax, and 26 lacked valid insurance coverage, as reported by the New Straits Times.

A BMW X5 was seized and impounded at the Karak JPJ Enforcement Station after its road tax and insurance had expired since November 2025. A Mazda MX-5 was also detained for having an expired road tax by two days; the driver was allowed to renew it on the spot before being released.

Summonses were also issued for modified exhaust systems (four cases), side mirror violations (four cases), failure to display learner or probationary plates (seven cases), registration number offences (five cases), and one instance of not wearing a seat belt.

The integrated nature of the operation allowed for comprehensive screening beyond basic traffic rules

Police issued a total of 84 summonses during the operation, while AADK conducted drug screenings on 35 individuals, with two testing positive. Meanwhile, JAS inspected 26 vehicles to monitor noise pollution and technical compliance, issuing two compounds.

Authorities said such operations will continue periodically to ensure adherence to road laws and to maintain safety in high-traffic tourist areas and hilly regions.
