A major fire broke out at Caffeinees HQ in Kampung Pandan yesterday, 4 March, at around 5.30pm, engulfing the café in flames within minutes and sending thick smoke into the sky

Despite the devastation, the company confirmed that everyone is safe. "As long as everyone is safe, that is what truly matters," the owner, June, wrote on social media.
According to her account, some colleagues bravely tried to control the fire and even rescue important company documents and laptops. However, the flames spread too quickly, and the team was urged to evacuate for their own safety.
"No property is ever worth risking a life," she said.
Multiple units from Bomba, along with police and ambulance teams, arrived within minutes and worked tirelessly to contain the fire
June expressed deep gratitude for their professionalism and courage.

While Caffeinees HQ will remain temporarily closed, the nearby Black Market outlet is operating as usual, and the team encouraged supporters to continue visiting
"Buildings can be rebuilt. Equipment can be replaced. But lives cannot. We will rebuild. And we will come back stronger," June emphasised.
June also thanked the public for their overwhelming support and promised to keep everyone updated on the rebuilding journey.
