A family of six who were reported missing on Saturday, 5 July, were tragically found dead this morning, 7 July, inside a Proton Iswara submerged in Sungai Korok, Kedah
According to Harian Metro, personnel from the Jitra Fire and Rescue Station are currently carrying out an operation to retrieve the bodies from the vehicle.
The victims have been identified as Mohammad Azim Izat Ishak, 32, his wife Nurul Hidayah Khalijah Razman Effendy, 31, and their four children, aged between six months and nine years.
Family members at the scene were seen in tears as the bodies were recovered one by one.

The family was reported missing by Azim's sister, Nur Adliah Shuhada Ishak, after they failed to return home following an overnight stay at her house in Jitra on Friday night, 4 July
Nur Adliah, in her 20s, said her brother and his family, who lived in Jerlun, frequently stayed over and usually left early in the morning before Azim, who worked as a security guard, began his shift.
"My brother has five children, but this time, the eldest — a 12-year-old girl — didn't come along and stayed with their grandmother in Jerlun.
"At first, I thought they had already returned home. But when my brother's mother-in-law called to say they never arrived, I started to worry something was wrong," she earlier told Berita Harian.
