Penang Family's Worst Fear Comes True As Son Found Dead With Throat Slashed & Body Stuffed In Suitcase

A 31-year-old insurance agent has been reported missing in Penang since Tuesday, 7 October, with his family growing increasingly concerned for his safety

The missing man, Daniel Han Lee, was last heard from around 1am on Tuesday, when he reportedly sent a message to his mother saying he was heading to Perlis for work matters and might return late or the next day.

However, his family suspects that the message may not have been sent by him, as he has been unreachable since noon that day, reported China Press.

His phone has remained switched off, and he has not responded to any messages in family or work group chats.

A check by SAYS found that his last public activity on Facebook was on Monday afternoon, 6 October, when he shared a motivational post.

He describes himself as a 'financial influencer' and regularly uploads videos about financial planning and guidance for viewers.

According to his colleagues, Daniel was supposed to attend a meeting that evening with a new coworker, but he never showed up

All attempts to contact him by his colleagues have been unsuccessful.

At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a grey shirt and black pants, and driving a Toyota Vios bearing the registration number PPP 3135.

It is understood that Daniel is the only child in his family.

His family has since lodged a police report and is appealing to the public for help in locating him.

Anyone who may have seen Daniel or his vehicle, or who may have information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact the nearest police station or reach out to the family immediately.
