Factory Worker In Ipoh Dies After Falling Into A Flour-Cooling Machine

The man fell into the machine while he was cleaning it.

A factory worker in Ipoh recently lost his life after falling into a flour-cooling machine

According to Astro Awani, the incident happened on Thursday, 26 September, at a factory in the Tasek Industrial Area.

The victim was identified as 37-year-old Lama Kajiman from Nepal.

Bernama reported that 11 firefighters were rushed to the location after the Fire and Rescue Department received a phone call at 8.47pm.

It took firefighters 10 minutes to remove the body from the machine.

Firefighters carried the victim's flour-covered body out of the machine and he was pronounced dead on the spot

Ipoh Fire and Rescue Operations chief Mohd Mahir Mat Saad told Sinar Harian that the operation ended at 9.38pm.

He added that the victim's body has been handed over to the police for further action.
