Duterte ‘Looking Forward’ To Work With Trump
But he has some terms in mind.

The world remains in shock with the announcement of the new president of the United States as he secured 276 electoral votes over Clinton's 218.
Donald Trump has had a lot of issues during his campaign. Tagging him as misogynistic, racist and homophopic, people were not too pleased.

After a grueling election, democracy has spoken.
After his victory he pledges to be the "President of All Americans". He was "reaching out" to the people who had not supported him to "unify the country".
"Now it's time to bind the wounds of division. I say to Democrats and Republicans it is time come together as one united people," he said.
"I pledge to be president for all Americans," he said, adding: "The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer."

Our own president Duterte congratulated him on his victory and wishes him success in the 4 years of his term
"President Duterte wishes President-elect Trump success in the next four years as Chief Executive and commander-in chief of the U.S. military," communications secretary Martin Andanar released a statement.
Duterte also commended the American democratic tradition, one that we, the Philippines share with the US
"The United States presidential elections is a testament to the enduring traditions of its democratic system and the American way of life. The two-party system gives American voters freedom of choice based on party platforms, not just on personalities."

He also hopes that the Philippines-US relations would be enhanced and is excited to work with Trump in the years ahead as long as they share "mutual respect"
"(Duterte) looks forward to be working with the incoming administration for enhanced Philippines-US relations anchored on mutual respect, mutual benefit and shared commitment to democratic ideals and the rule of law."
House speaker Pantaleon Alvarez also congratulated the newly elect-US president saying that it would "renew and pave the way for better ties between Manila and Washington" after its strains after Duterte criticized the US, on a report by Inquirer.
Trump and Duterte have been compared numerous times because of their shared platform for "change" and their politically incorrect approach to speaking
