Duterte: I Will Kill Drug Lords

"I don't care of Congress. I don't mind if they err. I will stick to my own agenda."

The growing number of extrajudicial killings since President Rodrigo Duterte took office on 30 June perturbed the whole country. However, the president has no plans of holding his horses.

On Monday, the President told the press that his war against drugs would continue, even if it would cost the lives of drug personalities

"I have to solve this problem. Drugs – it will continue. I don't care whether there is a thousand hearings everywhere. I am focused on the problem," said President Duterte.

"**I will not stop until the last pusher in the streets, around the streets are fully exterminated. I will not stop… I will really kill drug lords. Make no bones about it**," added the President.

**The President revealed that the third and final drug list consists of about 1,000 individuals allegedly involved in drugs**, according to [Sun Star] (http://www.sunstar.com.ph/manila/local-news/2016/09/19/duterte-i-will-kill-drug-lords-498601).

The President has also stressed that he would not let anyone, even Congress, to thwart his staunch war against narcotics. "I don't care of Congress. I don't mind if they err. I will stick to my own agenda. Congress, they have their own show. Go ahead. Be my guest. I will focus on my promise," the President said.

"**If you don't want the problems to be addressed, pray that I lose the presidency. But if I don't interdict, I will compromise the next generation of Filipinos**," ended the President.
