A close friend of the personal bodyguard who was shot dead inside a car on Jalan Rasah, near the Port Dickson Toll Plaza, has urged the public to stop speculating about the incident
During the incident, which occurred around 7.30am on Wednesday morning, 10 December, 43-year-old Azrul Fariz Kamarul Baharin was killed and another man seriously injured after two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at their vehicle.
Azrul Fariz, believed to be the personal bodyguard of the other victim, was confirmed dead while receiving treatment at Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital in Seremban.
The second victim, a 47-year-old man with 15 prior criminal offences, was critically injured and hospitalised.

"To the netizens out there, please don't assume things. Some are saying he was carrying drugs, this, that… please don't.
"If you don't know the real story, don't speculate. The deceased worked as a bodyguard, protecting lives and earning a living for his wife and children," he told Sinar Harian at the Rembau Hospital Forensics Department yesterday, 11 December.
Nizam, who is also a personal bodyguard, urged the public to stop sharing photos and videos of Azrul Fariz in his final moments, out of respect for the grieving family.

He said that in the 15 years he had known the deceased, Azrul Fariz was dedicated to his work, responsible to his family, and caring toward his friends
"We never want things to end like this, but this is the reality of the job. If the boss doesn't die, we die — just like what happened to my friend. Our principle is to protect our employer's life. In this incident, he protected his employer until his very last drop of blood," he said.
Nizam added that he was heartbroken to learn that Azrul Fariz had applied for leave to attend his 12-year-old child's school awards ceremony this Saturday, 13 December.
The late bodyguard leaves behind a wife and five children aged between 8 and 21. Emotions ran high at the hospital as the wife was overwhelmed with grief on Thursday.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and Section 3 of the Firearms Act (Increased Penalties) 1971
Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack, which they believe may be linked to revenge stemming from gang rivalry.
