Here’s What Digi Did For Its Customers Discreetly

The ongoing telco wars in the recent months have led to a fierce competition between all the local telcos. They have been actively rolling out various data-centric packages into the market ever since, trying to win the customers' attention.

In line with that, Digi has quietly upgraded its subscribers' plans by offering more data recently.

According to a post on Digi's community page, all Digi subscribers of the said Postpaid plans will enjoy the Internet quota upgrades automatically

The [post](http://community.digi.com.my/t5/Postpaid/Enjoy-upgraded-Internet-Quota-with-these-Postpaid-Plans/ta-p/13035), written by Digi's community manager on 29 April, said that existing customers will enjoy the upgraded Internet quota starting from the next bill cycle onwards.

It was also revealed that the new upgrade will also apply to new customers.

This move by Digi is another sign that the Malaysian telco players are quickly responding to the market demands to avoid any risk of losing out to their competitors

**The "Big Four" Malaysian telcos – Celcom, Digi, Maxis, and U Mobile – have been aggressive in revising their plans consistently in the last year to appeal to consumers as the competition gets stiffer.**

This is only good news for Malaysian consumers as telcos are going out of their way to not only offer better packages but also more value-added services to entice the paying customer.

As the price per GB of data continues to spiral downwards following the revisions by the telcos in Malaysia, one would wonder if it would only be a matter of time before these industry players would finally make a groundbreaking announcement of offering unlimited data to consumers.
