De Lima was receiving P3 million monthly from drug lords as the alleged protector of drug lords when she was still the Secretary of Justice, said [Colangco] (http://says.com/ph/news/9-times-this-high-profile-jailed-drug-lord-is-having-a-better-life-than-most-of-us) as quoted by Department of Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre on Monday.

Colangco, along with the other 12 high-profile inmates, was scheduled to testify on a hearing on House Resolution 105 filed by Speaker Pantaleon "Bebot" Alvarez on Tuesday to witness against De Lima's drug connections
The National Bureau of Investigation's (NBI) officials and agents will also testify against the senator to further insvestigate on her involvement with the illegal drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison during her watch as the former DOJ secretary from June 2010 to October 2015.
Former NBI Deputy Director Rafael Ragos will also testify about the P5 million he allegedly gave to De Lima which came from the inmates

**Secretary Aguirre said that the system began before 2013 in preparation for De Lima's campaign for a senatorial post**, which led to the increased proliferation of drugs at the national penitentiary, according to [Philippine News] (http://philnews.ph/2016/09/19/de-lima-received-p3m-per-month-as-justice-secretary-colangco-says/).
Learning about the hearing, De Lima reiterated on Sunday that with or without invitation, she will not attend the hearing.

De Lima has also pointed out that any testimony or evidence linking her to the illegal drug trade is not true. She added that the DOJ seems to have gotten witnesses who are not telling the truth.
