A popular Korean barbecue restaurant in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur, is asking a man to return their cutlery after closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage captured him stealing five sets of it
The restaurant, Sae Ma Eul BBQ, posted a video clip of the incident in a Facebook post on 9 July.
As if addressing the thief himself, the eatery wrote, "We know our plates, chopsticks, and spoons are kinda special and nice. But that doesn't mean [they] are free to take."
In the 28-second video, a man can be seen wiping a plate clean under the table he was sitting at and then quickly tucking it into the pocket of his pants.
"It is actually considered as stealing," the caption went on to say.

A representative of the restaurant told SAYS that the man stole five sets of cutlery which included plates, spoons, and chopsticks, worth about RM15 per set
The staff only noticed the missing cutlery when they were cleaning up. They discovered that the customer had stolen them after checking the CCTV.
"(It's) [kind of a] hassle to order as it's from Korea," they told SAYS.

The representative also told SAYS that the customer has yet to return the stolen items and that there was no way of contacting the man personally
The manager of the restaurant will soon be reporting this incident to authorities if the man still does not return the cutlery.
