Customer Finds Glass Shards In ‘Kopi Ais Bungkus’ Bought From Seri Kembangan Kopitiam
The victim claimed they bought the coffee last Friday morning, 21 March.
Cover image via FacebookA customer was horrified after discovering glass shards in five packets of iced coffee they purchased from a kopitiam in Seri Kembangan, Selangor
According to a screenshot of a police report they shared on a Serdang community Facebook page, the victim bought the coffee at around 6am last Friday, 21 March.
When they arrived home, their child unpacked the beverages and allegedly found glass fragments inside.
"I went back to the shop to inform them, but it was closed. The purpose of this report is for relevant authorities to take action," read the police report.

The individual also shared a video and several photos of the coffee, which contained large and small fragments of glass
Most of the shards resembled broken ice, while others were so tiny that they settled at the bottom of the drinks.
China Press reported that Sri Kembangan assemblyperson Wong Siew Ki has been made aware of the issue.

At the time of writing, the Facebook post has garnered over 355 shares
"If it's one packet, maybe it'd [be forgivable]. But five packets are a problem," read a top comment.
"This could endanger lives," remarked a netizen, while another added, "I've seen several comments from others claiming they've encountered similar issues! This is a serious matter."
