The prosecution is still waiting for the post-mortem and DNA reports. None of the accused's family members were present during the proceedings.

The teen was arrested on 12 June after his mother and elder brother were found dead with multiple stab wounds in the living room of their home.

His younger brother was seriously injured but survived and is recovering in the hospital.

The suspect was found sitting outside the house in a dazed state. Police later recovered a bloodied 20cm folding knife, believed to be the murder weapon, from his school bag.

Preliminary investigations suggest the attack stemmed from emotional distress and resentment linked to pressure from his mother and brother to perform academically.
