The Coway and Titipan Kasih Harian Metro (TKHM) Flood Relief Mission recently brought aid to flood-affected communities, with 4,000 Kotak Rezeki distributed across five locations in Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan
Following its first stop in Pahang on 11 January, the programme was held in two locations, Pekan and Kuantan, where flood victims received essential supplies to help them recover from losses caused by last month's floods.
Each affected family received two Kotak Rezeki containing dry food items and personal hygiene products, aimed at easing daily challenges after their homes were affected by the flood.
Coway Malaysia Group Marketing Manager, Janice Tan said the initiative reflects the brand's commitment to standing with communities during difficult times.

"In the current situation, Coway is stepping forward to help those in need. Whether in times of hardship or ease, we remain together in facing every challenge," she said.
"Apart from losses, the floods also caused uncomfortable living conditions. We hope the flood victims can remain strong in facing this challenge," she added, after visiting affected homes in Kuantan.
The programme then moved towards the east coast, providing aid to those in Terengganu and Kelantan

The mission continued towards Marang, Terengganu as the third location where the distribution of Kotak Rezeki was held in Dewan Sivik Merchang on 15 January 2026.
Hashim Omar, 69, was among the recipients of the Kotak Rezeki aid boxes distributed in Marang. He mentioned that this aid might seem small to others, but it means a lot to him.
"These daily necessities are very helpful for someone like me with a large family, and if you look at the value, it would easily amount to hundreds of ringgit," he said.

After Terengganu, the mission headed towards Tumpat, Kelantan where a total of 400 flood victims received the Kotak Rezeki aid boxes.
"All these recipients are victims of the recent floods. I know this aid cannot replace all their losses, but I hope it can at least help ease household expenses and bring some happiness to the families," said Harian Metro Executive Editor (Production) Yusri Abdul Malek.

The final stop of the TKHM programme was held in Pasir Mas, Kelantan.
"Each family received two Kotak Rezeki containing basic food items and hygiene supplies to keep their families healthy during recovery. This aid may not replace all the property losses suffered, but we hope it can at least ease household expenses and cheer the victims up," said Husain Jahit, Group Editor at Harian Metro.
Harian Metro's Executive Editor, Muhamad Safar Ahmad said the initiative marked the first collaboration between Harian Metro and Coway Malaysia under the TKHM programme

"TKHM and Coway – Flood Relief Mission is our first collaboration with Coway Malaysia, involving five locations. This programme aims to ease the burden of flood victims, especially in areas severely affected," he shared.
He added that Harian Metro has been actively organising CSR initiatives since 2007 and welcomed the partnership with Coway to support communities on the east coast.
The programme also received support from the Social Welfare Department (JKM)

Agencies such as the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) and Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) helped identify and coordinate aid recipients.
For Amir Saidon, 62, the aid brought a sense of relief after his home in Taman Seri Inderapura was submerged for two days.
"This assistance after the flood disaster at the end of last year is very meaningful to us," he said, expressing hope that more organisations should step forward to help.
Through this collaboration, Coway Malaysia and Harian Metro hope their efforts will bring comfort and practical support to flood victims as they rebuild their lives
