Meanwhile, another J&T staff member shared clips showing what she described as a "tsunami" of parcels covering the warehouse floor

She advised customers to avoid ordering fragile items during this peak period due to the overwhelming volume of packages.

"J&T is flooded, guys! There's not enough space inside. Avoid ordering fragile items this close to Raya," wrote @nrl0niee._ on Threads.

"It's like a tsunami in here. This is peak shopping season, and there's a risk of delays and lost parcels. The return rate is high, so please be patient. Our couriers are human too, and they get tired. Don't pressure us!"

Anticipating the festive rush, J&T Express had earlier reminded customers to plan their purchases early to avoid delays

In a statement on 6 March, the company said it strives to serve customers 365 days a year, but urged the public to follow the recommended shipping dates to ensure parcels arrive before Hari Raya.

Here are J&T's recommended shipping deadlines for Hari Raya deliveries:

  • Within West Malaysia: Before 16 March (Monday)
  • West Malaysia ↔ East Malaysia: Before 12 March (Tuesday)
  • Sabah ↔ Sarawak: Before 14 March (Saturday)
  • Within the same city in East Malaysia: Before 16 March (Monday)

J&T reminded customers that parcels shipped after these recommended dates are expected to arrive only after Hari Raya.
