A couple in Bangsar learned the hard way that YouTube tutorials don't make everything legal

The items were valued at RM1,210.
"The man rented the condominium nearly a year ago and was living there with his girlfriend. The plants were grown about seven weeks ago after he learned how to do it from YouTube," Hoo said in a statement.
Both individuals are unemployed. The male suspect tested positive for THC and has a prior drug-related offence, while his partner tested negative for drugs.
The case is being investigated under Section 6B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 for cultivation of cannabis and Section 15(1)(a) of the same Act for drug use.
If convicted, they could face mandatory jail time.
