1. Parañaque City brings back number coding scheme starting October 1, 2016
For 10 years, Parañaque city doesn't have number coding since it has been suspended by the local government. Now, the suspension has been lifted by Parañaque mayor Edwin Olivarez given these reasons:
1. There is an increase in the volume of traffic and it has become unacceptable.
2. Maynilad is heavily repairing certain pavements along Dr. A. Santos Avenue, among others
3. Utility companies are also expected to perform repair and maintenance of roads in the entire city of Paranaque.
Number coding will be implemented starting October 1, 2016 7am to 7pm for private vehicles and from 6am to 9am and 4pm to 8pm for trucks. No window hours.

The Book Stop Project is a pop-up public library that roams around the metro. You can get a book by simply giving a book back. The project aims to deliver books to the public where it's reachable and more accessible since the metro is scarce on public libraries.
People may also participate in their "open mic poetry" events.
3. NAIA expressway phase 1 is now open and free for the first month of operation
South people's tolerance and patience were really tested while the NAIA expressway was being constructed. It brought a huge amount of traffic. It's now a thing of the past as it opened to the public last September 22.
It's a 11.6-kilometer (7.2 mi) elevated expressway that runs from the Metro Manila Skyway to Andrews Avenue near Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. This elevated expressway project is divided into 4 packages. This is also the first airport expressway in the Philippines. It is located in Pasay and Parañaque, and a little portion in Taguig.
18-billion peso project was constructed to ease traffic from and to the airport. According to Manila Bulletin, the franchisee San Miguel Corp. announced that the project will give 80,000 motorists easy daily access to and from the NAIA airports, cutting to one-third the average travel time between SLEX and NAIA (from 24.3 minutes to 8.2 minutes).
4. Cheese Raclette trend hits BF homes at The Grill
The gooey Swiss trend has landed in BF homes in a new restaurant player in the south, The Grill. They launched the Cheese Raclette last September 24. You can have them on top of your favorite food like roasted potatoes.
They are located near the corner of El Grande cr. Aguirre avenue, BF Homes Paranaque (in front of The Arcade building).
