Christina Grimmie Greeted Killer With ‘Her Arms Open Wide’; Music World Left Devastated
'The Voice' star Christina Grimmie died at a young age of 22 after getting shot three times during her last concert in Orlando, Florida.

Grimmie also posted a video a day before her concert inviting her fans to come see her in Orlando, Florida.
Destiny Rivera, one of the concertgoers of 'Before You Exit', said that she stood directly behind the shooter right before he opened fire
"I was talking to the girls behind us and there was a guy directly in line in front of us who I could've very easily started a conversation with. But I didn't, he just didn't look like he was up for a conversation," said Rivera to [People] (http://www.people.com).
When it came time for Loibl to meet Grimmie, Rivera says the singer greeted him with "**her arms open wide… as she would any of her other friends with such enthusiasm**".
Rivera told her fond memories of Grimmie's last performance
"You could tell that she genuinely enjoyed what she was doing. She was constantly interacting with the crowd and laughing around and joking, like, making fun of herself. Very kind hearted. She just seemed like a fun outgoing person," said Rivera, according to [People] (http://www.people.com/article/woman-claims-witnessed-christina-grimmie-shooting).
Rivera posted on Facebook every detail that she could remember of the tragedy, ending her post with: "**Rest in peace, Christina. Heaven gained us a beautiful angel last night and now they will be able to see the incredible human being you truly are**."
Grimmie's 'Before You Exit' bandmates also expressed their grief for the passing of their "angel, sister, and beloved friend"
[Before You Exit] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Before_You_Exit) is an American pop rock/pop punk band from Orlando, Florida and is originally consisted of Connor McDonough, Braiden Wood and Thomas Silvers.
Grimmie's bandmates ended the post with: "Please join us in keeping Christina's family in your prayers as we know Jesus said, 'In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.' She and her talent will be missed by us all. #RipChristina"
Orlando Police Chief John Mina identified Loibl as the suspect
Loibl traveled 160 kilometers from St. Petersburg to The Plaza Live theater in Orlando, Florida Friday night to intentionally shoot the young singer. When asked, Mina told reporters that Loibl was most likely a deranged fan of Grimmie, according to a report by the [Orlando Sentinel] (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/os-kevin-james-loibl-shooter-christina-grimmie-death-20160611-story.html).

Loibl's family posted a note on the door of their home in St. Petersburg expressing their sympathy, according to Associated Press.
"**Deepest sorrow for lost [sic] to the family, friends & fans of the very talented, loving Christina Grimmie. No other commets [sic]**."
