A Chinese influencer known as "Little Azheng" shared a shocking story about a young relative who wreaked havoc in his home after being denied a Labubu doll

The incident reportedly happened when the visiting boy demanded the influencer's valuable Labubu doll, which was adorned with expensive jewellery.

When his request was denied, the child flew into a rage, grabbing a remote control and hurling it at the ceiling.

The remote smashed a mirrored ceiling and a valuable Italian crystal chandelier, with the total damage estimated at over 400,000 yuan (RM240,000).

Disappointed, Azheng took to social media to share the incident.

Despite the costly damage, the child's parents only offered 20,000 yuan (RM12,000) in compensation

They claimed they were too poor and pleaded with the influencer not to share the story, saying it might "affect the boy's mood".

"We are poor and cannot afford compensation. There is no point in going to court, so please do not involve the child," they said.

The parents promised to pay the amount in two instalments, adding they would have to "sell everything to do it"

Little Azheng, who also goes by "Tail Brother", said he reluctantly accepted the arrangement, stating, "Elders always love using kinship as emotional blackmail. It is incredibly boundary-crossing."

The story has since sparked a debate on social media, with many commenters calling it a "parenting issue".
