A banner stating as such, hung outside the Proton showroom, was posted on a Lowyat.NET forum thread earlier today, 5 January
The forum member who snapped the photo – Xccess – added that he "called them myself to verify this isn't a hoax, they said confirmed accepting Crypto."
The revelation caused quite a stir among netizens, some of whom questioned the stability of using Bitcoin to pay for a new car and cautioned that this may just be "bait" for a scheme
