A 28-year-old motorcyclist in Taiping narrowly escaped serious injuries after a towed burger stall fell off a lorry and landed on him
According to Harian Metro, the incident occurred on 20 January at 3.30pm along Jalan Medan Saujana 3.
Taiping district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Malek Ismail said the crash involved a Hino lorry, a motorcycle, and a Proton Saga FL.

Preliminary investigations found that the 30-year-old lorry driver was towing the stall from Taiping towards Kamunting
As the lorry entered a one-way street, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
This caused the burger stall to dislodge and crash onto the road, hitting both the rider and a car driven by a 34-year-old woman.
Abdul Malek confirmed that the car driver was unhurt. However, the motorcyclist suffered light injuries to his forehead, neck, hands, and feet.
The rider was later sent to Hospital Taiping for medical treatment.
Dashcam footage of the unusual accident began circulating on social media yesterday, sparking various reactions from netizens.
The police have since issued a summons to the lorry driver.
