A 3-year-old boy died choking on a tapioca ball while sipping on bubble milk tea and jumping on a trampoline
The incident happened in a playground at a shopping centre in China's Zhejiang province on 19 October, according to South China Morning Post.
On 25 October, the boy's father, Li, posted a video of the incident on social media, demanding that the shopping centre and the bubble milk tea outlet be held accountable.

In the video, the child can be seen gasping for air as the tapioca ball, measuring 10mm in size, became lodged in his small, narrow airway
His mother attempted the Heimlich manoeuvre but to no avail due to the tapioca ball's sticky texture.
The boy was then rushed to hospital and was pronounced dead after medical staff failed to revive him.

Li claimed the bubble tea outlet didn't have a clear sign indicating that its drinks were unsuitable for toddlers
However, a notice on the outlet's online ordering page states that "the bubble tea product is not suitable for children under 3".
The boy's father also accused the playground of failing to prohibit parents and children from bringing in food and drinks.
The case is now under mediation.
