A video of an adorable baby elephant attempting, and adorably failing, to sit on a folding chair is charming the Internet
The clip, shared by Thailand's animal rescue team Tusker Shelter via Instagram, captures the little jumbo's innocence and amusing attempt to sit down.
The video shows the young elephant trying to hoist itself onto the chair, awkwardly balancing its tiny legs.
After a few unsuccessful tries, the baby elephant nudges the chair, causing it to fall. Humans nearby can be seen filming the calf's cute tantrum.
In a subsequent shot, the baby elephant is seen prodding the fallen chair, seemingly wanting to open it and try again
"Just hope to sit quietly, but the chair can't tell. A small wish for calmness, met with a hesitant chair," the video caption reads.
Social media users were captivated by the baby elephant's cuteness and funny behaviour.
Comments poured in, with one user saying, "Baby elephant needs a bigger chair, so cute," and another adding, "So pure-hearted and innocent baby. Precious. Hugs and kisses."
