Malaysians were swift to pass judgement on a recent poster made by students of a local university over their poor command of English

"Are you have a stress?" reads the poster for an upcoming activity to improve students' mental health at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in the Puncak Alam campus, Selangor.

Another poster features a tagline that reads, "One community, support each other, prevent mental health together."

It is understood from the posters that they were made by students from the university's College of Architectural Studies (KAB), and they were part of the promotional materials on campus for their Mental Health Awareness Campaign 2023.

New Straits Times reported yesterday, 6 April, that it reached out to UiTM for comments but did not receive any response.

At the time of writing, the tweet has gone viral with over 607,000 views on Twitter and 2,329 likes

One Twitter user said looking at the poster made them feel stressed, to which a person replied in jest that they intended to "induce stress so that it will attract a big crowd to go to the event".

"This group (definitely always makes these mistakes): 'its mean, thats mean, im agree, I dah sent email, applied kerja, next weeks," another netizen joked.

However, it was not all bad, just as this person put it, "Grammar and semantics aside, it looks like a banger of an event and an amazing initiative. 9/10 will join if I had the time."
