A dramatic scene unfolded at a Penang char kuey teow stall over the weekend after a customer lost his temper and caused a commotion
According to FMT, the incident happened around 7pm on Saturday, 5 July.
In a viral video, the man appeared visibly upset, claiming his order had been ignored.
He was seen shouting, attempting to slap a stall worker, and flipping their wok — which was hot on the burner — in a fit of frustration.
The hawker initially lodged a police report but later chose not to pursue the matter after the man apologised
Police confirmed that no injuries or losses were reported, and the case has been closed with no further action taken.
