Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah proved his humility once again while out for a simple breakfast in Putrajaya
At 10.20am on 4 September, His Majesty shocked customers at Nasi Lemak Royale Kedah when he casually walked in for a classic Malaysian breakfast, Bernama reported.

Accompanied by an aide, Perbadanan Putrajaya president Aminuddin Hassim, and his security detail, the Agong casually took a seat at a table and asked to order
"Tuanku ordered a simple menu – roti canai with all our lauk, like squid, prawns, vegetables, beef, chicken, and kari kepala ikan (fish head curry)," the restaurant's Putrajaya branch manager Sharifah Afidah Syed Abdul Rahman said.

When His Majesty finished eating, he spoke to and posed for pictures with customers and restaurant workers

"I almost had tears in my eyes getting to meet Tuanku," gas deliverer Mohd Rizuan Lido said.
"It's the best (feeling), I'm happy to have chatted with Tuanku, asked how he was. Daulat Tuanku," he added.

In a sweet gesture, the King quietly picked up the tab for everyone at the restaurant when paying for his bill
"Thank you, Tuanku, for coming and generously paying for all the customers," Sharifah said.
His Majesty told her he would be coming again with the Raja Permaisuri Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.
