A Woman’s True Function Is To Be A Wife And Stay-At-Home Mum, Says PAS Ulama

Another Indian Sunni leader said that, "women have no mental strength and the power to control the universe".

On the 2016 International Women's Day, a PAS Ulama expressed his opinion on women.

According to the Muslim scholar, a women's true function is at home, as a wife and mother.

When speaking about the rising divorce cases in Malaysia, Khairuddin said that heavy workload is causing a strain in relationships, which eventually leads to misunderstandings and divorce

"Gender equality is something which is never going to be a reality. It is against Islam, humanity and was intellectually wrong," said Kanthapuram when delivering a speech at a Muslim Students Federation (MSF) in Kozhikode, Kerala.
