A Son Bashed His Mother’s Head After She Refused To Give Him Money

On 4 December, Thursday evening, a son attacked his single mother with a blunt object after she refused to give him money

The 25-year-old struck his mother on her head with a metal object at their Felda Bukit Sagu 3 home in Kuantan, according to a report in NST Online.

The incident happened around 4pm Thursday, following an argument between the mother and her son, after she declined his request for money.

The mother, who was hit on her head, started bleeding. She managed to flee the house but fainted in front of her neighbour's home.

She received stitches for her head wound.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali said police will record a statement from the victim.

The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for causing hurt with a dangerous weapon, reported NST Online.
