1. Rita's age (a minor)

In a [letter,](http://www.mtrcb.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/12-August-2016-Episode-of-PBB-Season-7-Lucky-Teen-Housemates.pdf) MTRCB pointed out that Rita is a minor — who was objectified for 'cultural differences'.

2. Rita represents an indigenous group

Referring to PBB, MTRCB noted in its letter that the representation of the Badjao tribe was too publicized, even the slightest issues like her undergarments or her hygiene where it wrote, "representation made in your program that she belongs to an indigenous group or peoples of the Philippines."

It can be recalled that Albay 2nd District Representative Joey Salceda, earlier appealed through a Facebook [post](https://www.facebook.com/jose.salceda.92/posts/10154668865056756) his disappointment as PBB aired 'discrimination, subconscious racism, and bullying' that 'engenders contour and complexion, and made grievous grand display to a national audience [especially] to its target sector – the youth whose moral judgment is just forming.'

3. MTRCB called out for obvious 'bullying' of the young girl as relayed through Social Media

According to MTRCB, social media played a big role as many have reacted towards the incident, that eventually led to a national issue.
