2 Suspects Arrested Over RM360,000 Burglary At Kajang Influencer’s Home

Both suspects were reportedly known to the victim.

Police have arrested two individuals to assist in investigations into the burglary of influencer Nanad Bebe's home in Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang, on Sunday, 16 November

According to Malay Mail, Kajang district police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said the suspects, an engaged couple, were detained between 10.30am and 2.30pm on Monday, 17 November, by the district's Criminal Investigation Division and the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters.

"The arrests involved a 21-year-old private sector male employee and a 37-year-old local unemployed woman, both suspected of being involved in this incident.

"Police also seized two mobile phones to assist the investigation," he said, adding that both suspects were acquaintances of the victim and each had two prior narcotics-related offences.

Naazron said the man has been remanded for two days, while the woman will be held for one day

The case is being investigated under Section 457 and 379A of the Penal Code for housebreaking and vehicle theft.

"Further investigation is still underway to trace other suspects involved and to locate the case items," he said, urging anyone with information to contact investigating officer Inspector Sharulhasram Ramli at +6017-2530380.

The burglary on Sunday saw several valuables reported missing, including jewellery, two motorcycles, and Arai and Shoei helmets, losses estimated to be around RM360,000.
