Highway developer Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (PROLINTAS) has assured that additional safety measures are being implemented along the expressway, including the installation of more fencing

In a statement responding to the latest fatal accident, PROLINTAS stressed that DASH was constructed in full compliance with specifications approved by authorities and certified engineers.

"We extend our condolences to the victim's family. While the highway design meets all requirements, we have taken proactive steps such as installing extra warning signs at strategic locations, enhancing public awareness, and planning additional fencing to further improve safety," the company said, as quoted by the New Straits Times.

PROLINTAS added that it has handed over all relevant evidence, including surveillance footage, to assist police investigations.

The company also reminded motorists to observe speed limits and drive cautiously, especially on elevated and curved sections of the highway.
