A 15-year-old female student has been reported missing after she failed to return to her school dormitory in Kuala Terengganu since Saturday, 6 April

The missing teen, identified as Muna Qaisara Muhammad Budiman, a Form 3 student, was last seen wearing a maroon robe and a cream-coloured headscarf near the dormitory of her school in Serada.

Her mother, Juliana Johari, 42, is pleading for public assistance to help locate her daughter, particularly from individuals who may have dashcam footage recorded around the Serada area.

"We've tried everything we can, but so far, all efforts have led nowhere," she was quoted as saying.

Juliana also urged the public not to spread false information regarding the case, saying that claims of Muna Qaisara being found are untrue and have caused further distress to the family.

Kuala Terengganu district police chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor confirmed that a report has been lodged regarding the teenager's disappearance

He urged anyone with information to contact 013-5714157 or 013-3092947, or to go to the nearest police station to assist with the investigations into the case.
