To celebrate World Children's Day, Zoo Negara is launching Kidventure Kingdom, a weekend packed with exciting, animal-themed activities for children
Happening on 22 and 23 November 2025, the highlights include the Paw Parade and Speak Up For Wildlife contests, which aimed to inspire creativity and compassion in young animal lovers.
Here are the animal-themed activities that your children can enjoy at Zoo Negara this Children's Day:
1. Dress your children up and let them join the march at the Paw Parade
Get those tiny paws, tails, and whiskers ready! Kids can don their favourite animal costumes and march proudly alongside Zoo Negara's adorable mascots.
The parade is open to the public for children aged 7 to 12, and will take place on 22 November 2025 at 9am.
There will be special prizes for the most creative costumes, so go wild with your outfit ideas!
2. Boost your child's confidence with Speak Up For Wildlife
Through Speak Up For Wildlife, your children can express their love for their favourite animals and share ideas on how to protect them.
It's a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about empathy, confidence, and responsibility towards nature, all while having fun on stage.
The contest kicks off on the same day at 2.30pm, with exciting prizes awaiting for the most passionate young speakers.
If your children prefer something more hands-on, they can join the Wildlife Enrichment Programme
This educational activity teaches your children how to prepare food for the zoo's animals while learning about their diets, behaviour, and care routines.
