Over the weekend of 17 and 18 August, we attended MarriottxWAF2019 at GMBB Mall, Kuala Lumpur
WAF dubs themselves "the only bridal event worth your time" and we think they're right.
Collaborating with Marriott, WAF brought together the biggest names in the wedding industry and pushed the boundaries of the wedding scene in Malaysia this year.
The event featured a carefully curated selection of more than 60 leading vendors, including some of the region's most exciting and sought after names.

The highlight of the whole event was the setup by local decorators that made us feel like we were right inside a fairytale
Wedding planners and decorators behind some of Malaysia's most talked about weddings were exhibited throughout the artfully designed spaces.
We didn't realise we had a dream wedding until we went to MarriottxWAF2019.

'Destination: Vogue' featured tropical leaves with hints of gold. Perfect for the laid back bride who wants a bit of glam.
Marble & Co showcased a more playful setup by mixing bright colours with fun pieces like a vintage record player and a bird cage
The stark contrast between black tablecloths and white lilies exuded sophistication and class in this setup by Mint Events & Soirees
Elisa Florals experimented with dried leaves and tribal patterns for a more unconventional rustic look

Meanwhile, The Peak Experience's 'Eclectic Pop' setup might be more suitable for the bold, loud, and funky bride and groom
