UKM Psychology Students Are Offering Group Therapy For Just RM50 – Here’s Who It’s For

RM50 covers three 90-minute sessions, plus materials and snacks — all non-profit.

If you or someone you know could use a little extra support, check this out: a group of Master's students in Clinical Psychology from UKM's KL Campus is running affordable group therapy sessions this month — only RM50 for three sessions

That's three 90-minute sessions, all guided and supervised by their course instructor.

This not-for-profit initiative is part of their training and aims to support specific groups who could really benefit from a safe, supportive space:

Parents & Caregivers
Learn strategies and gain support to help care for children with developmental delays. It's a great way to connect with others going through similar experiences.

Children with Developmental Delays
Through fun, structured sessions, kids will get the chance to build social and emotional skills in a welcoming group setting.

Adults with Mental Health Challenges
Participants will explore coping techniques, share their experiences, and build a sense of community in a supportive environment.

Here's the schedule:

  • 16 May (Friday)
  • 23 May (Friday)
  • 30 May (Friday)

Time: 2.30pm to 4.30pm (90 minutes per session)

The RM50 fee covers materials and snacks — no profit involved, just genuine support and care.
