Tupperware is back! Once a kitchen staple and cultural icon, the brand is making a fresh comeback after shutting down production last year.

After years of financial struggles, growing competition, and shifting consumer preferences, the company officially filed for bankruptcy in September 2024, reporting debts exceeding USD1 billion (RM4.4 billion).
Following the bankruptcy, Tupperware announced a restructuring plan, shifting focus to key markets like Brazil, Canada, China, India, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, and the US. Meanwhile, operations in several European countries were shut down due to mounting debt, according to The Brussels Times.
Now, there's good news for Tupperware fans!
French entrepreneur Cédric Meston has acquired Tupperware France and is leading efforts to relaunch the brand across Europe.
His plans include fresh marketing, new product strategies, and a return to the brand's signature durability as early as this month.

France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Poland are first in line for the comeback
Meston is aiming big, targeting EUR100 million (about RM512 million) in revenue by the end of 2025, with 20,000 independent sales reps helping to reintroduce Tupperware to consumers.
Negotiations with the American parent company are underway to secure licensing rights. Meston is confident that approval is just around the corner. "It's a matter of hours or days before we get the green light," he said, according to East Coast Radio.
